Pike Lake Elementary is proud of its tradition in providing a friendly and inclusive learning environment that strives to meet the individual needs of students. There is a collective effort between our teachers, staff, and parents in developing the whole child. With an enrollment of about 280 students in grades K-5, we have a small school atmosphere while offering a wide variety of enriching learning experiences that further the development of children as they become global citizens. We acknowledge and address the varied cognitive, physical, cultural, and social needs of the students we serve. Our dedicated teachers and staff focus on providing students with consistent opportunities to learn to solve problems competently, to think critically and creatively, to communicate effectively, and to act responsibly.

Our school forest and outdoor classroom pavilion provide excellent learning stations as students discover the workings of nature and the value of taking care of these priceless resources. We also bring the world to our students through technology in the classroom with iPads, Chromebooks, and Smartboards.

Pike Lake Elementary provides a seamless transition for students entering their elementary school years by providing an exemplary early outdoor childhood program for children from ages 3 to 5. We also offer Kids Zone, a before and after school program for students to do their homework and have fun while parents are at work.

We appreciate the enduring efforts of our active parent group, Partners in Education. They consistently support Pike Lake Elementary through fundraising and providing school events that enhance our students’ lives. Pike Lake Elementary values the community and life-long learning with events and activities for both children and adults throughout the school year and beyond the school day.
